Rick Doody is the Chairman and Founder of Bravo/Brio Restaurant Group (BBRG). In 1992 Rick, his brother, Chris Doody, and their Executive Chef, Phil Yandolino, opened their first restaurant – Bravo Cucina Italiana in Columbus, Ohio. Today the restaurant group has grown to include 77 Bravo and Brio Tuscan Grille restaurants throughout the U.S., and a French bistro called Bon Vie. BBRG employs approximately 11,700 restaurant associates who serve 280,000 guests each week. Sales are expected to exceed $320 million in 2009.
Rick is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), serves on the boards of the American Beverage Institute, Stella Maris Rehabilitation Center, and the Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland.
