Robert Potokar
Partner - Operations
Robert joined Resilience in 2006 as the CEO of Steel Parts Manufacturing, one of Resilience’s Portfolio Companies. Robert has over 30 years of lean manufacturing experience. His experience spans from product and manufacturing engineering and development, to plant and facilities engineering and production leadership, to IPOs and turnarounds of troubled enterprises. Prior to Steel Parts, Robert held key executive positions at General Motors Corporation, Saturn Corporation and Decoma International Inc., a division of Magna International. He has extensive experience in site selection and startup of new facilities in the United States, Mexico and Brazil. Robert received bachelor degrees in chemical and mechanical engineering, and master degrees in thermal and environmental engineering from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois.
